Teaching Interests: Linguistics, grammar, professional writing and the first-year college writing courses.

Li-Mei Chen's research interests include technology-integrated language teaching and English teacher education. She loves to see her students apply what they have learned from her classes and succeed in their field, so her later research has been focused on the scholarship of teaching and learning.

She has published a list of articles in refereed journals on issues related to English education. The awards/grants she has received include 91勛圖厙’s President’s Award for Excellence in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, Online Development Grant, Technology and Multimedia Award in English Teaching, and TOEFL Grant.
